Festival Of Thrift Launch

2018 saw the inaugural Thrift Parade – ‘Be Thrifty, Be Happy’ which launched the festival in style and included hundreds of participants from local youth, community groups and schools, as well as performance groups and cyclists heading up the parade. Our role involved the fundraising, development and delivery of the parade as well as engaging community group across Redcar in the event.

The launch parade returned bigger and better for 2019 with ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ involving even more local people in this wonderful event! Artists worked with local schools and community groups to create their colourful costumes to reflect the clean air theme of the festival.
